Nationwide is a long-time supporter of National FFA through the Nationwide Foundation. In 2016 we have taken our support for FFA further, celebrating FFA Chapters around the country and helping highlight all the great community work they do.
Nationwide® is sponsoring the FFA Chapter Tribute each week on This Week in AgriBusiness, a weekly one-hour television program that airs nationally on RFD-TV (available on the DISH Network, DirecTV and other local cable channels), FamilyNet cable channel and regionally on 71 local TV stations across the U.S. We also promote the FFA Chapters chosen to be recognized on Nationwide Agribusiness’ Facebook and Twitter accounts.
If you’re not familiar with this program, link to the show’s website here.
If you are affiliated with a local FFA Chapter, we encourage you to reach out to members or advisers to see if they would be interested in submitting an application to be recognized on this very popular ag-based television show. There is no cost to the Chapter to apply. The producers of This Week in Agriculture choose the weekly winners. It’s easy to submit an application. Just go to NationwideSupportsFFA.com and follow the directions there.
WEEKLY WINNERS - One chapter entry is chosen each week to be recognized on This Week in Agribusiness. An FFA Chapter only needs to enter once and could then win any time during 2016!
GRAND PRIZE WINNERS – Three Grand Prize winners will be named at the end of 2016. These will be the three Chapters that receive the most votes on the NationwideSupportsFFA.com site throughout the year. You can support your FFA Chapter by going to this site (once per day per computer) to vote for them.
All the information to submit a nomination or to vote for a Chapter can be found at NationwideSupportsFFA.com.
We hope you’ll tune in to This Week in Agribusiness hosted by well-known ag broadcasters Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson, and encourage your local FFA Chapter to enter for a chance to be recognized and win a Grand Prize! Supporting FFA is another way Nationwide supports farmers and ranchers … and upcoming farmers and ranchers!
